Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate OpenStack services across multiple environments.
- Own Terraform and Ansible infrastructure-as-code practices, including reusable modules and patterns.
- Develop platform services, FastAPI APIs, and automation using Python.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, performance, and usability.
- Lead incident response, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
- Work across compute, networking, and storage layers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform usability.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction and engineering standards.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack projects including Ironic, Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Swift, OVN/OVS, and Glance.
- Strong Ansible and Terraform or equivalent infrastructure lifecycle automation experience.
- Strong experience with Linux internals.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C.
- Experience designing distributed systems and APIs.
- Experience operating large, secure, production multi-tenant systems at scale.
- Strong expertise across at least one of networking, storage, or compute.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, or FluxCD.
- Experience working in a DevOps or SRE environment.
- Preferred experience managing hybrid platforms across multiple data centers and clouds.
- Preferred hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native systems.
- Preferred experience with DPU acceleration.
