Responsibilities
- Work daily with Python to build the core of Bold’s banking and payments products.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and services deployed on AWS using a serverless, self-service architecture.
- Create and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Contribute to architecture, tool selection, and process decisions.
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, DevOps, and testing developers to maintain engineering standards.
- Provide constructive feedback and work effectively in a high-ambiguity, rapidly growing environment.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience with services on AWS, Azure, or GCP, preferably in serverless environments.
- At least one year of experience with DevOps or CI/CD.
- Strong command of software design and architecture principles.
- Experience with Python or other robust object-oriented or functional backend languages such as Java, Golang, Scala, Elixir, Haskell, or Clojure.
- Experience with secure coding practices.
- Experience with Amazon RDS is desirable.
- Experience with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, Lambda, or API Gateway is desirable.
- Experience incorporating AI tools into the development workflow is desirable.
