Responsibilities
- Automate AWS infrastructure deployments using Terraform and GitLab pipelines.
- Own and operate Kubernetes clusters, including upgrades, configuration management, and containerized-service reliability.
- Maintain observability, secrets management, high availability, and reliability standards across environments.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI-assisted tooling into operational workflows, pipelines, and product development.
- Collaborate across teams, contribute to continuous improvement, and take accountability for team goals and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications using Docker, Podman, or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS services including EKS, RDS, and IAM; Azure or GCP experience is valued.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab, Git workflows, and scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Demonstrated use of an AI-assisted tool to solve an infrastructure or operational problem.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with FluxCD or Argo CD, Helm chart authoring or modification, and experience with CloudFormation, OpenTofu, Ansible, or comparable infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools.
- Experience in fintech, capital markets, or a regulated industry is preferred.
