Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and microservices.
- Build event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka and optimize producers, consumers, topics, and partitions.
- Develop and integrate APIs for enterprise applications.
- Perform code reviews and uphold coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, reliability, and operational issues.
- Participate in application design discussions and technical solutioning.
- Develop unit tests and support automated testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 6 to 13 years of experience in Java and Kafka development.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, microservices, and API development.
- Experience building high-volume, distributed, and real-time processing applications.
- Knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, SQL, and Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit and Mockito, object-oriented design, design patterns, and Git.
- Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience with Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk or Dynatrace, performance tuning, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
