Responsibilities
- Lead Application Software and Basic Software development for a Smart Leveling System ECU from project launch through series production release.
- Provide technical leadership to the software development team and coordinate external development partners and suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance and conduct supplier monitoring activities according to Automotive SPICE processes.
- Define, maintain, and approve software architecture and software interfaces aligned with system, functional safety, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Drive software integration, debugging, verification, validation, and production release activities.
- Establish and operate an embedded automotive software development environment with automated build, integration, and test frameworks.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, functional safety, cybersecurity, and validation teams.
- Support development and integration of Complex Device Drivers within AUTOSAR Basic Software and the hardware platform.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience leading software development teams and managing suppliers or engineering service providers, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Several years of hands-on embedded software development experience, preferably for automotive applications.
- Strong knowledge of Functional Safety, ISO 26262, Cybersecurity, ISO/SAE 21434, and Automotive SPICE.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, software build automation, and automated testing environments.
- Solid understanding of embedded software architectures and software integration processes.
- Experience with suspension, air suspension, chassis control, or comparable automotive ECUs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Embedded C, AUTOSAR, and automotive microcontrollers such as Infineon AURIX or NXP devices is advantageous.
- Fluent German at minimum C1 level and strong English communication skills at minimum B2 level, written and spoken.
