Responsibilities
- Own the design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, debugging, and operation of cloud applications.
- Design and deploy data extraction pipelines.
- Build dashboards from application monitoring data and establish alerts, thresholds, and service quality gateways.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for AWS cloud applications.
- Collaborate with operational and software engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering and development experience in multi-language, multi-system environments.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience building and deploying cloud applications on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of Lambda, Batch, ECS, Step Functions, IAM, SQS, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EventBridge, Glue, Athena, SAM, and CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar.
- Experience deploying and running software at scale, including debugging, monitoring tools, and profilers.
