NavVis is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Platform Engineer to own the Linux platform layer powering mobile mapping devices, from OS lifecycle and hardware abstraction to system services, camera/media integration, and sensor modules. The role combines kernel-boundary work with production-scale platform integration across ARM and amd64 systems.

Own quality engineering for NavVis IVION’s complex 3D data-processing systems, building automated testing, test-data strategies, observability, and feedback loops. The role spans spatial-data ingestion, processing, streaming, and web rendering with a strong focus on performance and reliability.

Build the client-server architecture behind NavVis IVION, a browser-based platform for exploring and managing photorealistic 3D digital twins. You’ll work across Java/Spring, TypeScript/Angular, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS to deliver scalable mapping, visualization, and data-management features.
