Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ applications for computer vision, 3D perception, and 3D data processing.
- Develop the pipeline from raw sensor data to point clouds, panoramic images, and maps.
- Apply software design patterns, clean-code techniques, and conduct in-depth code reviews while mentoring teammates.
- Deploy applications to cloud infrastructure in collaboration with the cloud team.
- Improve application efficiency, scalability, and stability across platforms, operating systems, and cloud environments.
- Own the full application lifecycle from design through deployment, including infrastructure and continuous integration and delivery.
- Continuously improve automated testing and automated software delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Robotics, Computer Vision, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Expert-level C++ skills and solid Python proficiency.
- Experience with 3D perception systems, computer vision, 3D point-cloud processing, filtering, or robotics applications.
- Strong understanding of 3D data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Experience deploying and maintaining software across multiple platforms, operating systems, and cloud-based environments.
- Communication and collaboration skills, including experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with ROS, Docker or virtual machines, AWS cloud services, Boost, Eigen, OpenCV, PCL, or large-scale software systems is beneficial.
