Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ and Python applications for computer vision, 3D perception, and 3D data processing.
- Develop processing pipelines that transform raw sensor data into point clouds, panoramic images, and maps.
- Apply software design patterns, clean code practices, and code reviews while mentoring teammates.
- Deploy and maintain applications in cloud infrastructure in collaboration with the cloud team.
- Improve application efficiency, scalability, and stability across the full lifecycle from design through deployment.
- Contribute to infrastructure, continuous integration and delivery, automated testing, and automated software delivery.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, Robotics, Computer Vision, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
- Expert-level C++ skills and solid Python proficiency.
- Experience with 3D perception systems, computer vision, 3D point-cloud processing, filtering, or robotics applications.
- Strong understanding of 3D data structures, algorithms, software design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Experience deploying and maintaining software across multiple platforms, operating systems, and cloud-based environments.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with ROS, Docker, virtual machines, AWS cloud services, Boost, Eigen, OpenCV, or PCL is beneficial.
