Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend and frontend components of NavVis IVION.
- Develop and extend the Java/Spring application server and Angular/TypeScript web client.
- Contribute to the PostgreSQL/PostGIS data layer for large-scale geospatial data.
- Build and enhance APIs for digital enrichment of environments and third-party integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust technical solutions.
- Maintain engineering quality through code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
- Support and mentor engineers and contribute to technical direction, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience delivering complex systems.
- Expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, modern web application architectures, and TypeScript.
- Frontend experience with Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and scalable data-intensive services.
- Experience defining technical roadmaps and building consensus across functions.
- Experience delivering APIs and SDKs and using developer feedback to guide improvements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of C++ is a bonus.
- Exposure to AWS services, geospatial data, or 3D graphics/WebGL is a bonus.
