Responsibilities
- Build backend services and optimization algorithms for real-time energy asset processing.
- Develop dashboards that help battery operators monitor and control industrial battery assets.
- Design and scale cloud infrastructure for distributed battery systems.
- Deploy production optimizations and improve them using real-world feedback.
- Work with cross-functional partners to define product features and requirements.
Requirements
- Have up to five years of professional experience and a degree completed in 2023 or later.
- Have full-stack experience with React, TypeScript, Python, and Tailwind CSS.
- Have experience with energy systems, energy management controllers, or the broader energy industry.
- Be familiar with mixed-integer optimization and have a track record of deploying optimizations in production.
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have startup experience at a company with fewer than 50 employees and under three years old.
- Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or electrical engineering, with grades better than 2.0.
- Have fluent or near-fluent German proficiency.
- Have completed a semester abroad at a highly regarded university in the US, UK, or Asia.
- Participation in a selective extracurricular group during university is a plus.
Benefits
- Base salary of €70,000 to €100,000 annually, with equity details not provided.
