Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture, design, and development of Amazon’s generative AI HR assistant platform.
- Architect, build, and ship production conversational AI systems serving employees at scale.
- Expand HR experiences into conversational workflows and develop platform capabilities that improve assistant performance.
- Drive accuracy, latency, quality, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor engineers or lead technical design and engineering efforts.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: knowledge of software engineering best practices, software architectures, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
