Responsibilities
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to design and develop backend solutions.
- Develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices.
- Lead technical aspects of API framework design and development.
- Assess application and process improvement opportunities and build stakeholder buy-in.
- Communicate risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders and the team.
- Support production incident analysis and root-cause analysis for delivered features.
- Work with Kafka, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, containers, and Camunda BPM workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Basic database knowledge.
- Experience with TDD and BDD.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins and GitLab.
- Knowledge of Kafka is preferred.
