Responsibilities
- Define and maintain infrastructure architecture covering cloud topology, networking, environment strategy, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code patterns.
- Author ADRs, RFCs, and design documentation for infrastructure and platform decisions across multiple teams.
- Evaluate cloud services, container orchestration, message-broker topology, observability, and cost-optimization trade-offs.
- Evolve the infrastructure layer of the agentic engineering harness, including CI/CD integration, agent sandboxing, tool-execution environments, and guardrails.
- Drive adoption of organization-wide deployment and operations golden paths without direct authority.
- Provide technical input into platform and product strategy and mentor engineers on reliability, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software or platform engineering, including 2+ years of cross-team technical leadership or architecture authority.
- 3+ years building infrastructure for distributed payments or fintech systems.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration, CI/CD pipeline design, and Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Experience evaluating and operating AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud architecture at organizational scale.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, incident response, SLO design, and SRE practices.
- Experience with security and compliance architecture, including secrets management, network security, and PCI DSS or PSD2 controls.
- Experience designing or evolving agentic engineering harness infrastructure, including sandboxing, tool-execution environments, and guardrails.
- Ability to reason about database and message-broker operational trade-offs at scale.
- Excellent technical writing skills for ADRs, RFCs, and design documents, plus English proficiency at B2 or above.
- University degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include platform or internal developer tooling experience, agentic or LLM system design, Kafka or equivalent streaming architecture, service-mesh architecture, FinOps, chaos engineering, open-source contributions, technical publishing, and Polish language skills.
