Base Salary
$220k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product security end to end, including prioritizing threats and architecting defenses.
- Participate in design reviews early while product and system designs are still changing.
- Build security into the platform so secure implementation paths are easy to follow.
- Decompile code and identify vulnerabilities.
- Improve security practices and capabilities across the engineering team.
- Protect user data and the product against DDoS attacks, breaches, and other threats as the platform scales across mobile, web, desktop, and wearables.
Requirements
- Demonstrated interest or experience in product security, vulnerability discovery, and defensive architecture.
- Ability to make pragmatic security tradeoffs and prioritize the most important threats.
- Ability to consider both user experience and threat modeling.
- Strong ownership and willingness to serve as a security resource for the team.
