Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, document, and maintain software programs and systems that meet business requirements.
- Provide development and production support for key software applications and systems.
- Contribute to solution architecture deliverables, technical specifications, reusable assets, and design decisions.
- Develop application integrations and middleware service solutions, including BizTalk solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical problems across on-premise, cloud-native, and hybrid applications and solutions.
- Perform defect analysis, root-cause analysis, solution verification, and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with UX and other Technology teams to improve user experience and meet accessibility and usability criteria.
- Recommend solutions that support business and production objectives and benefits realization.
- Communicate project and production updates to leadership and stakeholders and collaborate with development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field and at least 1 year of software development experience, or 5+ years of related and applicable experience.
- Experience with software development technologies such as Angular, NodeJS, TypeScript, C++, .NET, Java, and SQL.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, research, root-cause analysis, and solution recommendation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, collaborate across teams, and build relationships that gain support for outcomes.
- Ability to coach or mentor team members and work effectively in a diverse, globally staffed development model.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage changing priorities with limited direction.
- Preferred experience working within an Agile team environment.
- Preferred current or recent experience developing and supporting BizTalk solutions.
- Preferred experience leading or participating in BizTalk replacement and migration solutions.
- Preferred experience developing application integrations and middleware service solutions.
- Preferred experience working with both SQL and NoSQL data solutions.
- Preferred interest or ability in mentoring and coaching others and partnering with global staffing vendors.
