Base Salary
$125k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to define technical direction.
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native microservices and REST APIs using Python.
- Build AI-powered applications and the platforms that support their development.
- Integrate and optimize data systems to support high-performance workloads.
- Take end-to-end ownership of major features or projects from design to deployment.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to less-experienced engineers.
- Influence architecture and design decisions across multiple services.
- Stay current with advances in Generative AI and cybersecurity technologies.
- Work with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and large-scale data processing.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong Python development skills, with experience in FastAPI or similar frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases and experience with search platforms.
- Ability to own large features or projects end-to-end.
- Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
