Base Salary
$181k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and address key security gaps in Databricks infrastructure and services.
- Define the vision and strategy for security engineering within Trust & Safety.
- Represent the security engineering discipline across the organization and promote data-driven decision-making.
- Attract top security engineering talent.
- Represent Databricks at academic and industry conferences and events.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in data security or related areas, with expertise in at least two listed security domains.
- At least 10 years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
- Experience leading across functional and organizational lines.
- Strong communication skills for explaining and evangelizing data security to senior company leaders.
- Experience with large-scale systems at internet companies is a significant plus.
- An MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Bias toward action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions.
