Base Salary
$70k - $112k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and debug high-performance software for real-time embedded optical networking systems.
- Collaborate with hardware, quality assurance, and systems engineering teams to define software requirements and interfaces.
- Develop and maintain software components across operating systems, drivers, control plane, and data plane functionality.
- Troubleshoot complex software issues in multithreaded and distributed environments.
- Apply industry trends and emerging technologies to embedded systems and networking challenges.
Requirements
- Graduating in 2026 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Academic or project-based experience applying C and C++ programming.
- Background in embedded systems development, real-time operating systems, and multithreaded execution models.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with Linux-based development environments and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Experience using debuggers, version control systems, and automated build tools.
- Demonstrated analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
- Exposure to networking protocols and concepts such as TCP/IP and Ethernet is preferred.
- Familiarity with control plane or data plane software and distributed systems in embedded or networking contexts is preferred.
