Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement autonomous agent architectures that reason, plan, use tools, and take actions.
- Develop multi-agent systems using MCP and A2A protocols for communication, tool usage, and collaborative task solving.
- Build RAG pipelines integrating unstructured data with knowledge graphs.
- Fine-tune and optimize SLMs for edge-device deployment using technologies such as ONNX, GGML, and Ollama.
- Develop evaluation frameworks for agent reliability, safety, and performance, including ReAct loops and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Move agentic AI prototypes into production and build observation layers for stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- At least 2 years of ML engineering experience building production-grade ML solutions involving areas such as GenAI, LLMs, deep learning, reinforcement learning, AI agents, agentic workflows, or complex automation frameworks.
- At least 2 years of experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, PydanticAI, CrewAI, or LlamaIndex.
- At least 2 years of cloud-environment experience with AWS and Azure, including architectural tradeoff evaluation and scalable service-based software design.
- Experience with MCP, A2A, RAG architecture, and knowledge graphs, including Neo4j or NebulaGraph.
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs or SLMs with Hugging Face, PEFT, or LoRA and evaluating LLM performance and behavior.
- Experience building observability layers using Grafana, Langfuse, LangSmith, or Phoenix.
- Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred qualifications include production deployment of agentic systems, edge-device or local-model deployment, coding-agent integration with Cursor or Windsurf, and programming with TensorFlow, PyTorch, llama.cpp, or vLLM.
- Preferred qualifications include on-premise or multi-classification AI engineering experience, client-facing project work, business development, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A master’s degree in computer science or AI is preferred, and a doctorate in computer science or statistics is a plus.
