Responsibilities
- Architect and develop new AI-powered full-stack applications.
- Implement RAG systems for intelligent document processing and analysis.
- Build frontend user interfaces and backend AI services.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS using ECS, S3, Bedrock, API Gateway, and Route 53.
- Create tools that improve efficiency in the nuclear energy sector.
- Work rapidly in a small team and contribute to product direction.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- At least four years of software engineering experience is required.
- Proven experience building production applications is required.
- Experience with Docker containerized applications is required.
- Experience with document processing, NLP, or knowledge management systems is preferred.
- Experience in highly regulated industries is preferred.
- Experience with FastAPI, Asyncio, boto3, and Terraform infrastructure as code for AWS is preferred.
- Proficiency in or willingness to learn Python, TypeScript/React, RAG, vector databases, and/or AWS is expected.
- Strong communication, collaboration, learning, adaptability, time management, and project management skills are required.
