Base Salary
$110k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build core financial systems including trading, ledger, and billing.
- Develop systems for transaction processing, reconciliation, and portfolio state management.
- Build and scale real-time and batch data pipelines.
- Architect APIs and backend services for internal and external use.
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and fault tolerance.
- Contribute to distributed systems design, including event-driven systems and microservices.
- Partner with ML teams to integrate models into production systems as needed.
Requirements
- Strong backend or systems engineer with experience in distributed systems.
- Experience in financial systems, data infrastructure, or scalable backend platforms.
- Strong understanding of system design, consistency, and reliability.
- Solid programming skills in Python or similar languages.
- Experience with modern infrastructure technologies like Kafka, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- Experience with financial primitives such as ledger, order management, and reconciliation is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with low-latency or high-throughput systems and exposure to data platforms or streaming systems is beneficial.
