Base Salary
$204k - $259k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize large-scale continual pre-training pipelines for VLM foundation models.
- Research techniques for integrating diverse multimodal data streams, including visual data from different sensors, into existing models.
- Develop and evaluate metrics and methodologies for foundation-model performance and transferability in autonomous driving.
- Translate advances in large language models, vision-language models, and continual learning into production-ready systems.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of machine learning experience focused on large-scale model development, including LLMs, VLMs, or similar foundation models.
- Require expertise in LLM/VLM pre-training and continual learning with large-scale datasets.
- Require strong coding proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as JAX, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Require hands-on experience training, evaluating, and deploying models in a production environment.
- Require a master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prefer experience fine-tuning foundation models for autonomous driving or robotics.
- Prefer familiarity with multimodal dataset curation and quality assurance.
- Prefer background in autonomous vehicle perception, motion planning, or decision-making systems.
- Prefer publications in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferences.
- A PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
