Responsibilities
- Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture as products scale.
- Build backend infrastructure by writing Ruby code integrated with AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
- Ship production changes and product features rapidly through automated deployment processes.
- Mentor other engineers and interview candidates.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts on multidisciplinary product teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
- Demonstrated significant impact on a product or team.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as Ruby, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers.
- Proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
- Experience with distributed systems.
