Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Design and build automation for continuous development, testing, and release workflows.
- Configure monitoring and alerting tools, including Datadog, to support operational excellence and reliability.
- Act on infrastructure alerts and logs involving security, performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
- Monitor CI/CD activities in production and ensure functional correctness.
- Optimize the performance and cost of provisioned cloud resources.
- Identify environment weaknesses, streamline workflows, and propose corrective solutions.
- Respond to production incidents, troubleshoot systems, and provide end-to-end issue resolution through ticketing systems within defined SLAs.
- Maintain availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
- Implement security best practices and data-access policies to reduce data-leakage risks.
- Report defined KPIs related to platform health and service levels.
- Evaluate new technologies and products that could improve team effectiveness.
- Contribute to cloud architecture designs and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience, including experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, system metrics, logging, and monitoring.
- Experience running test automation and generating reports.
- Knowledge of Jenkins Pipelines or similar tools for web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of Docker, including Docker Compose.
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and DynamoDB management, monitoring, and backup strategies.
- Experience managing Git servers and Git workflows.
- Knowledge of backup and restore techniques for cloud storage such as RDS, DynamoDB, buckets, and EFS.
- Knowledge and experience with at least one scripting language and one programming language, preferably Node.js and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of LLM-powered applications using APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with AI agent architectures, tool calling, workflow orchestration, and multi-agent systems.
- Experience with cloud AI services and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of AI security, responsible AI, data privacy, model safety, and AI governance.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work across multiple software products.
- DevOps Professional or Solutions Architect certification is a plus.
