Responsibilities
- Train, tune, and deploy machine learning models.
- Build predictive and classification models.
- Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation architectures.
- Design and develop AI-powered business applications, AI agents, enterprise copilots, and domain-specific AI solutions.
- Build APIs and microservices that expose AI capabilities.
- Develop reusable AI components and SDKs for enterprise adoption.
- Apply backend system design and software engineering fundamentals to enterprise AI systems.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a graduate student or PhD student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks including C, C++, C#, Python, Java, JavaScript, Vue, AngularJS, and PHP.
- Strong knowledge of computer science and software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms, multithreading, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Experience with AI, LLM, or AI agent projects is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Base pay is listed at $24.00-$40.00 per hour for the primary location in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
