Responsibilities
- Drive adoption and implementation of Polarion Copilot capabilities, including Content Validation, Similarity Analysis, Consistency Check, and AI-assisted Requirements Engineering.
- Design and implement AI-enabled ALM solutions using Polarion Copilot, enterprise LLMs, and custom AI extensions.
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven automation across requirements, quality, validation, and traceability processes with business stakeholders, systems engineers, and architects.
- Support AI-assisted migration of legacy requirements and engineering documents from Word, PDF, and Excel into Polarion LiveDocs and Work Items.
- Define and implement governance, security, and compliance controls for AI-enabled engineering workflows.
- Evaluate and integrate enterprise AI services such as Azure OpenAI and on-premises LLMs with Polarion through APIs and custom connectors.
- Contribute to AI architecture decisions, prompt engineering, RAG-based knowledge retrieval, and AI adoption practices across ALM programs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Siemens Polarion ALM is required.
- Hands-on proficiency in Polarion configuration, customization, workflows, LiveDocs, traceability, and integrations.
- Experience with Polarion Copilot features including Content Validation, Similarity Analysis, Consistency Check, Requirements Engineering Agent, AI Chatbot, and natural-language querying.
- Knowledge of systems engineering and requirements engineering standards, including INCOSE and IEEE.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, and prompt engineering.
- Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, security, and enterprise deployment models for regulated engineering environments.
- Experience with AI-powered requirements quality analysis, requirement generation, document migration, and traceability validation is preferred.
- Knowledge of Polarion Copilot APIs and custom AI extension development is preferred.
- Experience integrating Polarion with Teamcenter, Jira, Azure DevOps, DOORS, MBSE, and testing platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Polarion ALM 2512 or later, Teamcenter Systems Engineering, Requirements Engineering, MBSE, Digital Thread, or Engineering Lifecycle Management is preferred.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
