Base Salary
$164k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and manage analytics and production ETL/ELT systems for high-volume data ingestion.
- Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Product to enable reliable search-data logging, implementation, and usage.
- Ensure data quality, observability, reliability, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
- Optimize data systems for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
- Define and manage SLAs for data systems.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of relevant industry experience as a data engineer in a technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in data modeling, ETL, Python, and SQL.
- Preferred experience with distributed processing technologies, distributed storage systems, and massive datasets.
- Preferred experience with HDFS, S3, Airflow, Dagster, or DBT.
- Preferred expertise in experimentation and statistics and understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Experience in e-commerce and/or search is preferred.
