Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive goals for a modern data warehouse with Data Science counterparts.
- Architect and build scalable batch and real-time pipelines for experimentation, product analytics, and ML/AI training loops.
- Own data quality, reliability, and observability for production datasets, including defining and operating SLAs and SLOs.
- Mentor and grow engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and actionable feedback.
- Drive cross-functional engineering initiatives across multiple teams and translate ambiguous requirements into technical designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Apache Spark, Flink, Beam, Airflow, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar infrastructure.
- Experience developing, debugging, and supporting large-scale data pipelines.
- Experience with distributed data processing frameworks and workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience with Go or C++.
- Experience in a technical lead or similar role, ideally setting technical direction for a small group of engineers.
- Ability to address business data requirements and remove development obstacles in a rapidly changing product environment.
