Base Salary
$211k - $285k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture for major provider engagement platform domains such as practice intelligence APIs, recommendation serving, orchestration, and AI-assisted management.
- Design event and data pipelines that compute engagement signals, aggregate practice profiles, and support personalization and downstream ML systems.
- Integrate Data Science ML models into production model serving, feature pipelines, monitoring, and feedback loops.
- Define APIs, schemas, and service contracts between platform services and product surfaces.
- Lead complex cross-team projects, technical roadmaps, prototypes, and 0-to-1 initiatives.
- Make build-versus-buy decisions for infrastructure components such as event systems, feature stores, and in-product messaging platforms.
- Build and ship production code using C#, React, and AWS technologies.
- Mentor engineers and promote engineering fundamentals, testing, observability, code health, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
- Experience building data-intensive systems such as event pipelines, aggregation services, or real-time data-serving systems.
- Experience integrating ML models into products and taking models from notebooks to production in collaboration with Data Science.
- Strong API, schema, and data modeling skills.
- Ability to break ambiguous product goals into concrete technical milestones and make sound design decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, including writing design documentation and explaining technical tradeoffs to product partners.
- A track record of shipping high-quality production systems.
