Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex, responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Architect reusable UI components and ensure consistency, scalability, performance, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver user experiences.
- Translate business requirements and user stories into technical specifications and UI solutions.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services into the UI layer.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk management activities.
- Continuously improve UI development processes by evaluating industry trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of professional UI development experience.
- Expert proficiency in React.js, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3, SASS, or LESS.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, design systems, and accessibility standards including WCAG and ARIA.
- Experience with Redux, MobX, or Context API for state management.
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Webpack, and Babel.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, Next.js, AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and leading UI teams or large-scale UI projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
