Base Salary
$231k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive new customer and expansion opportunities by articulating Cohesity’s Data Cloud portfolio to business and technical audiences.
- Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, solution design, demonstrations, and proofs of concept.
- Partner with Account Executives on technical strategy, deal progression, and win strategy for enterprise opportunities.
- Help customers integrate Cohesity products into production environments and respond to technical requests.
- Lead or support demonstrations, workshops, white papers, proposals, evaluations, and competitive displacement discussions.
- Identify customer requirements and risks and shape proofs of concept focused on cyber resilience and data security.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.
- Provide post-sales technical assistance or project support when needed.
Requirements
- Proven pre-sales Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting experience supporting infrastructure, data protection, security, or cloud platforms in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, data protection, storage, or cyber resilience technologies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures.
- Working knowledge of ransomware resilience, immutable storage, encryption, access controls, and other data security concepts.
- Experience supporting proofs of concept, evaluations, technical decision processes, and complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Ability to translate technical architecture into customer value and business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve productivity, workflows, and decision-making.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Industry certifications in cloud, data, or adjacent technologies are preferred.
- Professional English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing is required.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Benefits
- Starting pay range is $231,300.00-$257,000.00 annually, with potential bonus compensation, commission for sales roles, and/or equity grants.

- Employees within a reasonable commute generally work from core offices 2–3 days per week of their choosing.
- Candidates outside the Bay Area are expected to relocate before starting and must have the legal right to work in the job location.
