Base Salary
$130k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Master a variety of production technology stacks with your team.
- Ensure site performance, uptime, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and runbook documentation.
- Identify technical problems and create effective solutions.
- Collaborate with application engineering teams to support product needs.
- Build and propose architecture changes to streamline technology.
- Develop tooling for deployment and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional software engineering or DevOps experience.
- Experience with public cloud providers, preferably GCP.
- Familiarity with web servers, message queues, load balancers, and databases.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized solutions.
- Fluency in DevOps practices including source control and monitoring.
- Ability to work with various technologies and legacy systems.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across the technology stack.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Passion for improving education through technology.
