Responsibilities

  • Drive the reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale models and AI workloads on Vertex AI.
  • Architect and operate fleet-management automation for Google Cloud Platform and Google Kubernetes Engine environments.
  • Optimize low-latency, high-throughput AI serving infrastructure and accelerator-resource efficiency, observability, and availability.
  • Partner with development teams on system design, launch reviews, and capacity planning.
  • Build self-healing software, eliminate toil, and improve deployment velocity and platform resilience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • At least 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading projects and designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
  • Preferred experience in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking.
  • Preferred expertise in large-scale distributed systems, debugging, code optimization, automation, and understanding complex system interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills, with an interest in learning new AI/ML technologies.
