Base Salary
$171k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture for developer experience and AI-enabled software delivery capabilities.
- Define and govern reference architectures, integration patterns, standards, guardrails, architecture decision records, and roadmaps.
- Architect integrations across ideation, portfolio planning, development, testing, deployment, and platform operations using lifecycle data and shared identifiers.
- Lead the architecture and rollout of developer-facing AI capabilities, including AI coding assistants, developer agents, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Define delivery measures for flow, quality, reliability, adoption, developer experience, and business outcomes.
- Architect model gateways and managed model access with identity, policy, telemetry, and vendor or model abstraction controls.
- Design agentic architectures for developer workflows, including tool integration, orchestration, and knowledge or context architecture.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, platform, security, risk, finance, sourcing, and operations teams without direct reporting authority.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, site reliability engineering, or enterprise architecture, including responsibility for modern software delivery practices.
- 5+ years leading architecture or technical strategy for enterprise-scale development and delivery platforms, developer ecosystems, or software development lifecycle toolchains.
- Hands-on software development experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages and the ability to read, write, review, and troubleshoot application code, APIs, or delivery automation.
- Experience creating and governing architecture artifacts and integrating software delivery lifecycle systems.
- Experience leading developer-facing AI architecture and implementation or rollout across multiple development teams.
- Experience defining software delivery measures and influencing senior leaders across multiple business and technology functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include business-of-IT data modeling, model gateways, agentic architectures, AI evaluation and governance, structured pilots, AI adoption measurement, AIFinOps, internal developer platforms, and CI/CD delivery automation.
