Responsibilities
- Design, code, maintain, and enhance custom software applications and components using Java Standard Edition.
- Collaborate with project and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
- Improve application performance and user experience through debugging, testing, and performance tuning.
- Document development processes and code changes for clarity and maintainability.
- Participate in team discussions, contribute solutions to work-related problems, and work independently as a subject matter expert.
- Share knowledge with and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java Standard Edition.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, performance tuning, version control systems, and collaborative development tools.
