Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, development, and lifecycle management of enterprise SCADA and industrial automation software.
  • Develop scalable, secure, high-performance solutions using full-stack technologies, industrial communication protocols, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Define engineering standards, conduct architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, and lead complex technical investigations.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Quality Engineering, DevOps, and global R&D teams on strategic product initiatives.
  • Drive automated testing, cybersecurity, performance optimization, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent engineering practices while contributing to technology roadmaps, intellectual property, and platform evolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
  • 12–18 years of enterprise software engineering experience, including 5+ years developing SCADA, industrial automation, or mission-critical real-time software systems.
  • Strong expertise in C++, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web APIs, Angular, TypeScript, enterprise application architecture, distributed systems, and full-stack development.
  • Extensive experience with SCADA architectures, industrial communication protocols, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, historian systems, and high-availability industrial platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles, including IEC 62443, and familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, stakeholder management, mentoring, analytical, problem-solving, innovation, and strategic technology skills.
