Base Salary
$177k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the cost efficiency, reliability, and performance of large-scale validation and simulation pipelines.
- Create production-grade APIs, SDKs, and tools for validating autonomous behaviors.
- Improve ML training pipelines supporting the autonomous behavior organization.
- Contribute to framework architecture, reliability, efficiency, and support for new use cases.
- Maintain highly available production systems and collaborate with autonomy engineers working on vehicle algorithms and models.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6+ years of industry experience.
- Experience optimizing large-scale distributed systems for cost and efficiency.
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud providers.
- Proficiency with Python and familiarity with C++.
- Preferred: exposure to ML training, inference, or data-generation workloads from a cost-optimization perspective.
- Preferred: background in algorithmic optimization or performance investigation.
- Preferred: experience with Ray.io, particularly Ray Core and Ray Data.
- Preferred: understanding of the robotic data lifecycle.
