Responsibilities
- Participate in the full QA lifecycle, including test planning, system testing, troubleshooting, and support.
- Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into comprehensive testing scenarios.
- Design, create, and maintain test plans, test cases, test reports, and test automation initiatives.
- Perform manual, regression, API, and integration testing of web-based applications and services.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, project managers, and QA colleagues to support product quality and successful releases.
- Estimate testing efforts, identify project risks, and suggest improvements.
- Monitor system performance and investigate issues using logging and monitoring tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Communicate with Playtech teams across different countries and time zones.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and the software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Swagger.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and WebSocket technologies.
- Experience with logging and monitoring systems, NoSQL databases, bug tracking systems, and test management tools.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, attention-to-detail, initiative, and ownership skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Experience with microservice-based architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, version control systems, test automation frameworks, or tools is advantageous.
- Previous gambling or gaming industry experience, higher education in Information Technology or a related field, and ISTQB or similar QA certifications are advantageous.
