Responsibilities
- Architect and build scalable, high-performance backend systems.
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows using Claude APIs.
- Define prompt strategies, context handling, and response validation mechanisms.
- Lead development of microservices and distributed systems.
- Drive technical design discussions and engineering decisions.
- Ensure high-quality code through reviews and best practices.
- Debug complex production issues and optimize system performance.
- Mentor team members and guide AI integration best practices.
- Improve system observability, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
- 5–9 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong expertise in Node.js and distributed system design.
- Deep understanding of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Experience integrating LLMs like Claude into production systems.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, token usage, and latency considerations.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with AI guardrails, response validation, and safe usage patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and system design.
