Responsibilities
- Deliver integration services and solutions for QNX products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for external customers.
- Develop innovative solutions through analysis, debugging, and root-cause identification.
- Provide consultative technical expertise, analysis, and advice to customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues proactively and reactively.
- Manage multiple priorities while handling sensitive customer and business matters with diplomacy, tact, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Strong C programming skills and a solid understanding of embedded software development principles.
- Working knowledge of POSIX/Unix operating systems and embedded software development.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging complex system-level software issues.
- Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced English language skills and native Japanese language skills.
- Knowledge of shell scripting languages, GCC, and GDB is an asset.
- Hands-on embedded systems experience is an asset.
- Experience with large projects involving substantial software and system integration is an asset.
- Exposure to QNX technologies and products including Networking, USB, Kernel, Safety, Security, Hypervisor, Graphics, IDE, and development tools is an asset.
