Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies and test plans for mobile applications.
- Create and execute manual and automated test cases to validate features and APIs.
- Contribute to test automation using frameworks like Jest, Detox, and Appium.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to translate user stories into test scenarios.
- Identify, reproduce, and document defects with clear steps and impact assessments.
- Perform manual exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.
- Ensure security and data handling best practices are considered in testing.
- Maintain documentation related to test plans, environments, and release readiness.
- Stay current with industry best practices in mobile testing, accessibility, and security.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in mobile app testing.
- Strong understanding of mobile app architectures, APIs, and end-to-end testing concepts.
- Experience with test automation for mobile apps and willingness to extend coverage.
- Familiarity with RESTful API testing and ability to validate API contracts.
- Ability to design effective test cases from user stories and product requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing and guidelines.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
