Responsibilities
- Evolve the core architecture of Okta’s Privileged Access Management platform.
- Build scalable, composable platform components in product development teams.
- Design and implement scalable architecture patterns.
- Develop customer-facing UX using a React-based design system.
- Design and build APIs for access to production infrastructure.
- Build backend components in Go and frontend components in React.
- Complete features end to end across database models, backend APIs, and frontend UI components.
- Address distributed-system reliability, availability, performance, maintainability, and scalability considerations.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of software development experience.
- Background in Go or similar programming languages.
- Proficiency in React or similar frontend UI stacks.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS technologies.
- Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ability to think in terms of systems, services, and APIs.
- Ability to work collaboratively with end-to-end ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and customer focus.
- Comfort working on a fully distributed team.
