Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, secure, and scalable code according to engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product and Operations to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver features end-to-end.
- Diagnose and resolve defects and performance bottlenecks, and participate in incident response and post-incident improvements.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy involving APIs, data models, reliability, observability, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, mentor engineers, and reinforce consistent engineering patterns.
- Improve developer productivity through automation, tooling, and CI/CD improvements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and pragmatically recommend valuable tools and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to full-stack development with Java 11, Spring 5, Spring Boot 3, HTML, CSS, JSON, Angular 10+, and JavaScript is highly desirable.
- Advanced SQL skills, including PL/SQL development and performance tuning in Oracle and/or PostgreSQL.
- DevOps knowledge and experience with GitLab CI/CD automation.
- Knowledge of security authentication and authorization, including OIDC, OAuth, and Azure MFA.
- Experience with automation and AI-driven solutions is a plus.
