Base Salary
$129k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement systems automation, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment pipelines across multiple AWS regions.
- Build operational tooling and monitoring systems for service management, troubleshooting, and incident response.
- Develop SRE practices including runbooks, alerting strategies, and automated remediation.
- Integrate AWS Edge Connectivity systems with AWS infrastructure, third-party solutions, and government customer environments.
- Establish operational standards for availability, performance, and security using metrics and data analysis.
- Mentor teammates on systems engineering, operational excellence, and automation practices.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and provide technical leadership during incidents.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- US citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
- Preferred qualifications include 6+ years of networking, storage, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience.
- Preferred qualifications include experience building services with AWS products and using AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment.
- An active TS/SCI with polygraph US Government security clearance is preferred.
