Base Salary
$110k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver scalable platform capabilities, infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
- Lead coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and other full software development lifecycle activities.
- Conduct system design reviews and ensure architectural quality, feasibility, and alignment.
- Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable technical requirements.
- Define success metrics and use data-driven practices to optimize engineering processes.
- Improve code quality through reviews and stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related area plus four years of software engineering or related experience, or six years of such experience.
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
- Strong experience with software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping.
- Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability.
- Proficiency in debugging, remedial action, and software security best practices.
- Ability to provide mentorship, collaborate effectively, and make data-driven engineering decisions.
- Preferred: a master's degree in a relevant field plus two years of software engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices.
