Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure services and foundational platform components.
- Operate and improve infrastructure systems in production for reliability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Own infrastructure components or services and drive initiatives from high-level requirements through production delivery.
- Build and maintain provisioning, deployment, observability, and incident-response capabilities.
- Collaborate with Platform and Security teams and contribute to infrastructure design discussions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or site reliability engineering, including significant ownership of complex production systems.
- Experience leading ambiguous, high-impact technical initiatives from problem definition through production delivery.
- Ability to translate business, customer, and operational needs into technical requirements and system designs.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and production observability systems.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Preferred experience owning an infrastructure component or service within a cloud platform or SaaS environment.
- Preferred familiarity with cloud-native design patterns, container orchestration such as Kubernetes or ECS, security tooling, identity and access management, or compliance frameworks.
