Base Salary
$79k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build networking automation, network health monitoring, network control plane, and auto-recovery services for AI superclusters.
- Own the software design and development of major Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components.
- Design, code, test, launch, and operate scalable, highly available distributed services in production.
- Develop services that protect customer cloud environments and support mission-critical tier-one live-site operations.
- Lead and assemble a team combining software engineering and network control expertise.
- Collaborate with senior technical leaders to solve complex architectural and execution challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least four years of total software development experience.
- Strong coding ability in Java, Go, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
- Experience delivering products through the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure and mission-critical operational environments.
- Experience designing architectures for high availability, scalability, flexibility, and future business demands.
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, high-scale services, operational excellence, testing, and service development.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, Apache Spark, Lucene, and other big data technologies.
- Preferred hands-on experience maintaining services on AWS, Azure, or Oracle cloud platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of infrastructure as code, especially Terraform, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and execution skills.
