Responsibilities
- Independently design, implement, lead development of, and test scalable web application features.
- Own critical frontend and backend components across the full application stack.
- Debug, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks with limited guidance.
- Optimize code and system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Translate complex product and technical requirements into clean, efficient, working code.
- Provide technical guidance, mentor junior engineers, and lead complex cross-team code reviews.
- Help establish quality and performance standards and advise partners on difficult technical matters.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver enterprise SaaS products.
- Anticipate future needs, risks, and improvements while taking end-to-end accountability for assigned components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 12+ years of related professional software development experience.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and time and space complexity.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend programming with Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, end-to-end application communication, databases, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, adaptability, ownership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, provide technical leadership, learn complex systems quickly, and mentor others.
- Willingness to be based in Pune and work from the office 3–4 days per week.
