Responsibilities

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient software applications and systems.
  • Lead or contribute to the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex software solutions.
  • Manage feature and project execution, including priorities, deadlines, and delivery quality.
  • Participate in architectural design and design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review code, provide feedback, and uphold technical quality, maintainability, observability, and unit-testing standards.
  • Build testable software and automate tests using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
  • Maintain service health and quality, resolve incidents, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
  • Own the software lifecycle from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production maintenance in a DevOps model.
  • Document features, enhancements, and fixes and contribute to training materials.
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product management, peers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4–8 years of professional software development experience.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of C, C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
  • Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and test automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and accessible technology development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
