Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications using Python, Django, Django REST Framework, FastAPI, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Own solution design across application, data, and integration layers.
- Design secure REST APIs, authentication and authorization systems, and system integrations.
- Build and optimize PostgreSQL and Cloud SQL solutions using Django ORM and caching.
- Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on GCP using services including Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, IAM, and Cloud Storage.
- Drive application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead code reviews, engineering standards, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.
- Make architectural decisions, resolve complex technical issues, mentor developers, and drive technical delivery.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and other teams.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience designing and developing scalable applications.
- Strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
- Experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience designing REST APIs and secure applications.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Django ORM, and query optimization.
- Experience with GCP and cloud-native architecture.
- Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
- Strong system design and application architecture skills.
- Strong technical ownership, solution-design, code-review, engineering-governance, mentoring, and stakeholder-collaboration abilities.
- Preferred experience with FastAPI, BigQuery, Redis, Pub/Sub, event-driven architecture, Kubernetes/GKE, Azure, microservices, Generative AI, Vertex AI, and OpenAI.
